ADMISSIONS POLICY
School of Business and Commerce will admit applicants who have the potential to achieve success through the curriculum
offered. standard entry qualifications will apply to all students wishing to enroll at the School of Business and Commerce.
PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSIONS
SELECTION OF COURSE

APPLICATIONS
Applicants MUST fully satisfy the entry requirement criteria.
Applications must be made initially by completing the School of Business and Commerce Application form along with photographs and sending it back to us (via
email
info@sbclondon.co.uk, or via fax or post). This can either be collected form our reception or can be downloaded from our website. Please ensure that all information provided is complete and accurate, failure to do so may result in a delay in the admission procedure.
Application forms must be submitted with all necessary supporting documents so that the applications are fully assessed. These documents are as follows:
Provide relevant academic documents, these documents should either be originals or fully notarized/attested copies.
Provide a valid passport. This document should be a notarized/attested copy.
Provide a bank statement.
All applications must complete submit an English Assessment. This document can be downloaded from our website:

INTERVIEWS AND ENGLISH ASSESSMENT
Following our application process Interviews will be made through Skype to assess the
students intent to study and English level. Our Skype name is sbclondon. To ensure that we are able to see the applicant, interviews must be conducted by video call.
The minimum level of English language for an applicant to have is CEFR level B2. It is compulsory for all our applicants to have a qualification in English language equivalent to CEFR level B2. This can be satisfied either by the students having a valid Qualification in English Language equivalent to CEFR level B2 or by being assessed by a successful Skype interview by a member of SBC staff.
A member of our Admissions team will contact an applicant to arrange for a Skype interview and to ensure that an English assessment has been filled out.
OFFER LETTERS
Offers of places are not made until interviews and English assessments have been completed. Furthermore, we will ensure that all documents provided are adequately verified.
If your application is successful we will send you an International Admission Document (offer letter) confirming your acceptance for the course and itemizing the cost of tuition fees and living expenses. If you have quoted the name and address of a UK sponsor on your application form, your sponsor will automatically receive a copy of your International Admission Document and an invitation to visit the College.
A conditional offer will be for a place at the School of Business and Commerce on a specific course. SBC will aim to make available sufficient teaching and resources to allow for all choices indicated at the interview. However, places cannot be guaranteed for specific courses
for example, in case where there is a timetable clash or a course is removed from the Colleges curriculum, or where a particular course has been oversubscribed.
The number of offers to be made will depend on the capacity of the College. As long as the college does not oversubscribe offers will be made.
Please note that theses offers are valid for a maximum of Six Months.
PAYMENT
Once you have received your acceptance documentation you can start making arrangements for your tuition fees to be sent to the College. If you are paying your fees from overseas you should ask your bank to issue a Bankers Draft made payable to School of Business and Commerce, which you should send to us by courier or registered post. If your fees are to be paid by a sponsor in the United Kingdom you should ask your sponsor to telephone the School to arrange an appointment to see a member of our admissions team.
ISSUE OF CAS
When your tuition fees have been paid, the College will issue you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies
(CAS).
What is a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies
(CAS)?
A CAS is an electronic document that is created by a UK Border Agency licensed sponsor to demonstrate that they have accepted an applicant to join one of their courses in the UK. Under Tier 4 an applicant must have a CAS before making an application. The CAS must demonstrate that the applicant has an official, unconditional offer from the sponsor for the course of study he / she wants to undertake. The applicant must note the unique fourteen digit reference number for their CAS on the appropriate field on their application form.
The CAS must be issued no longer than 6 months before the date of application, otherwise it will expire. Having a valid CAS will not guarantee entry clearance as the applicant will still need to demonstrate that they meet all the Immigration Rules for the category.
APPLY FOR A VISA
Applicants must fill out and apply for a visa. The applicant must note the unique fourteen digit reference number for their CAS on the appropriate field on their application form.
Once you have submitted your visa application you must update SBC for any correspondence with the British High Commission
(BHC).
ARRIVAL AND ACCOMMODATION
Once you have obtained a visa under the Tier 4 points-based system you must notify the College of your flight details and report immediately into the College upon arrival, so that we can arrange enrolment to be completed with u.
The College is unable to provide accommodation for you. However, we can help those students to find accommodation through agencies. It is important, that you notify us in advance of your accommodation needs, so we can make the necessary arrangements.
